The Championship

The four teams that will qualify for The Championship playoffs are the Spring and Fall season winners, and the next two teams with the highest combined points from both Spring and Fall.

If the same team wins both the Spring and Fall seasons, the next three teams with the highest combined points will participate.

As of right now, the teams that would qualify are:

  1. Minnesota United FC (won the Spring season)

  2. San Antonio Scorpions (winning the Fall season)

  3. NY Cosmos (29 points combined)

  4. Fort Lauderdale Strikers (25 points combined)

Teams just outside The Championship right now include Tampa Bay (25 points, behind Ft Lauderdale on the total goals tiebreaker), Carolina (23 points), and FC Edmonton (22 points).

The Championship semifinals will be held the weekend of November 8/9 with the final the following weekend.  The highest seeded teams will be the host teams for each playoff game.
